What a great spot, it was a must stop on our weekend trip. Tucked away in an office building downtown, it packs a great pour and drip of coffee. Don’t skimp on the donuts! So light and delicious !
I was so excited to see that Weird Harbour Espresso Bar was just 4 minutes down the street from my hotel! What a wonderful place. The staff was so friendly and helpful with selecting my drink. I had a flat white and it was probably the best coffee I have ever had - It almost tasted like caramel without the sweetness! I would be back many times if I didn't have to leave Halifax.
Incredible coffee coming out of this shop. I wish they delivered to Sydney because we need this up in Cape Breton Island. Delectable beans. Impeccably perfect coffees to sip on. Don’t miss out on this gem. It’s going to be hard to explore other options now for us.
I love this little spot, everytime I'm in Halifax I make sure to stop here for a latte. The first time I went in I ordered a quad latte and the barista asked how I was doing, when I said I was great, she said "Oh it's just normally if someone gets this much Espresso they're usually not having a great time." Nope, just a coffee addict That was back in October, I've been back many times and don't see an end to visits. This last time on Mother's Day my daughter got a cookie which she absolutely devoured. My Cortado is always expertly crafted, with a beautiful presentation and a taste that never disappoints. What truly sets this place apart, though, is the staff. Every person I've encountered here has been polite, friendly, and full of interesting energy. It's evident that they're passionate about what they do, and their enthusiasm is contagious. Nice little coffee shop with excellent coffee and a cool vibe. The staff were chummy with their regulars and equally as welcoming to first timers. I particularly enjoyed all of the plants they had in the shop. There is very little seating available inside but you are in the middle of downtown and steps away from the harbour. We took our lattes down to the water to enjoy the views. I can confidently say that this would be a safe space for all to enjoy.
